We recently replaced a small cedar deck with a larger low-maintenance one. I’m very impressed with the workmanship, professionalism, and efficiency of Decks, Decks, and More Decks. Robert was very patient while my husband and I hashed out what we wanted in a deck, and modeled multiple options for how to achieve our goals. He even gave us some composite samples to take home to color coordinate with the house.
Once we settled on a design, Chris’s team was very professional and paid thorough attention to detail. We have a fireplace that juts out from the side of our house, and the deck fits against it like a glove. They also ensured our deck is not just good-looking, but structurally sound and reinforced our existing deck structure.
Furthermore, unlike some fencing companies I’ve worked with in the past, DD + MD did their best to work around the weather and not use rain as a cop out. They forecasted they would make it out to build our deck the second half of April, which they did. They also waited until closer to that time to give us an exact start date, instead of pushing the date back repeatedly for rain, which I really appreciated. If there was a forecast of rain, they came out to work if it wasn’t actually raining yet. If a date was pushed back due to weather, it was truly warranted.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new deck or replacement. Ours turned out even better than we imagined!
Update: we sold our house and the buyers’ home inspector was so impressed with the quality of work on the deck that he asked us who built it! We happily passed along this information to the inspector and the buyers’ agent, so hopefully more business will be coming your way!
Decks, Decks and More Decks completed the tear down of my old deck and installation of my new deck! The team was extremely easy to work with from start to finish! They were very polite, professional and left the worksite spotless each night and it only took 2 days to complete the project!

This was one of the smoothest home renovation projects we’ve ever experienced. Throughout the bidding and estimation process, we knew exactly what our options were and how much they cost, and we saw a detailed rendering of exactly what our deck would look like after we made our choices. The final estimate was right in line with other competitors, if not a little less.
The work crew was on schedule and communicated well throughout the entire build. And most importantly, the final product is top-notch, and a huge upgrade over our previous deck. We look forward to many years of maintenance-free enjoyment.

Total tear down of old deck and building of the new deck took four days. The crew was fantastic. We had various numbers of crew members here depending on the work that was being down. We ended up with two crew leaders Josh and Chris. Both of these guys were terrific. Josh had to leave because his wife was being induced and Chris took over. Fifty plus years ago I was stationed with the Navy SeaBees (The Navy construction battalion of 1,000 men). I have to say that our crew members were as careful and experienced in their craft as were the many specialists in that SeaBee battalion.
The quality of the finished deck speaks for itself. The crew carefully cleaned up after construction was finished.
While the cost of this deck was pricey, the finished product speaks loudly that it was worth it.
Our old deck went from approximately 150 sq ft to 313 sq ft.
The experience with Decks, Decks & More Decks has been amazing from the first phone call to the end of the project. Robert worked with me from the very beginning to help redesign the existing deck layout to accommodate the yard layout. The communication from the project team was nothing short of amazing. Even with this year’s wet spring/early summer, they were still able to start and complete the project on time when given the dates two weeks prior, which was ahead of what was originally given when I signed the agreement. I was given daily updates to how the project was going and timing of what the next day would look like. The project team was also very clean and respectful of the workspace each day. I highly recommend this company for any deck project you are looking to have done.

The whole process was smooth and efficient. The crew worked nonstop in cold and wet weather. The arbor turned out even better than the design illustration. We couldn’t be more pleased.
